Anthony Trevelyan "Rufus" Rogers (1913–2009) was a New Zealand politician of the Labour Party.
Born in New Plymouth on 12 July 1913, Rogers later attended Whitiora School and Hamilton High School, as well as Nelson College and the University of Otago, where he completed a MB ChB degree in 1938.
He represented the new Hamilton East electorate from 1972 to 1975, when he was defeated by Ian Shearer.
Rogers was one of two founders of the University of Waikato, established in 1964.
His brother Denis Rogers was the Mayor of Hamilton from 1959 to 1968.
Anthony died on 18 August 2009.[1][2]
